South Florida Friends of Classical Music is looking for Creative Interns or Volunteers. The ideal candidate(s) is an individual who loves classical music and Arts, who is social-media savvy, who loves creativity, willing to fund-raise, and is organized and efficient. We are offering opportunities in Arts Administration, Donor Development, Fundraising, and General help with our many Programs.
-Research new grant and donor opportunities.
-Engage past and current donors with organizational activities and social media.
-Grow and Maintain our Calendar of Events page and members/donors database.
-Help organize upcoming international piano competition and concerts and events in all our programs.
-Fundraise for our Programs.
-Help organize an annual Summer Program in Florence, Italy (you might get to go!)
-Provide administrative support for our Music Academy.
-Working (preferably) towards a degree in Business and/or Arts Administration, Communications or Non-profit Management.
-Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
-Excellent attention to detail.
-Flexible and enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
-Classical Music connoisseur: You know about Performing Arts organizations. You like going out to concerts.
-Organized: You come in on time and deliver projects with excellence. You are able to prioritize and manage several tasks at once.
-Team-Oriented: You are willing to help out on projects that drive the organization forward regardless of whether they are your responsibility or not.
-Passionate: You are excited about the opportunity to help a non-profit organization grow! You have an interest or passion for the arts. You want to make a lasting impact.
-Work Location: Miami Lakes Office (unlimited tea and coffee). Remote internship opportunities are available.
-Intern's Salary: $15 p/h
-Volunteer's Salary: Unpaid
